Singing Does a Body Good! 

Vocal Sound Healing is a powerful adaptogen. Like other embodiment practices, singing with mindfulness brings balance and flow to your day

What happens in our Bodies when we sing?  Its raises your energy by activating the sympathetic nervous and induce a relaxation response in the parasympathetic nervous system and releases physical mental and emotional tension in the body. As we breathe and make sound with intention it releases Nitric Oxide in the Brain inducing calm and clearing the mind and body of residual tension.  This creates a feeling of Space in the body and mind offering us the opportunity to be with our emotions and inner state.

How does this support our emotional state? You can bring more understanding to your mood and underlying truth behind your emotions when you have space to be witness to your inner world. Notice how music or singing is Self- soothing and soothing to others. Music can aid as a rescue remedy in situations of crisis and aid in trauma release. And it can inspire people into taking action and rally behind a cause.
